The 1st and 2nd quarter Fiscal Year 2022 Preliminary Real Estate and Personal Property Tax bills were mailed out in late June. This is to remind you that FY2022 1st Quarter Real Estate and Personal Property taxes are now due and payable. The due date for the 1st quarter’s bills is August 2, 2021. Payments received after that date will be charged interest and fees.

To make online payments using a credit card, debit card, or bank payment, go to www.unitaxonline.com. You can also go to this site to search for your Real Estate bill by last name or street, whether or not you will be paying the bill online.
Non-cash payments may be deposited in the Tax Payment drop box located in front of the Town Hall at 15 S. Main St. or mailed to the Tax Collector, 24 S. Main St., New Salem, MA 01355. You can use money orders or postal orders in place of cash. Cash payments (exact change, please) may be made during the Tax Collector’s office hours at 24 S. Main Street on Thursdays 10am-Noon.
